When I was running OS X version 10.6.7, my MacBook Pro became a nut-roaster when I would turn on the visualizer in iTunes. Forum post about this problem here: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1166173/
However, with the OS X 10.6.8 update, the problem doesn't seem to be existent anymore, or at least it doesn't run anywhere near as hot as it did. My computer used to get up to 90C almost immediately when I would start the visualizer, now it takes like 5-7 minutes to get up 80C and turn the fan on. Has anyone else reported the same behavior?
