10.6.8 - Safari CPU

After installing this update Safari CPU usage is 47% with no windows open. With just 3 tabs open it spiked at 74%. It has to be a bug or something.

I had to reinstall snow leopard after the 10.6.8 update because it slowed my MBP down alot and it is still sluggish after the fresh install and reapplied update.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Just checked, negative all is well. With Safari opened at rumors using less then 2 %. 10.6.8

after a restart it seems to be acting fine now... definitely strange.
