10.6 Snow Leopard running on PPC

Notwithstanding that, early builds of SL were full Universal Binaries (and might be still?), including the kernel. The only problem is that the PPC-side of the kernel would crash on my machine. So I can't say I've seen it run beyond initial bootstrap

Have you kept anything of those builds? It may turn to be useful now.

I am of course well aware of the new thread. But we do not have all builds that were circulating back then yet. Doesn't hurt asking someone who might have had some, IMO.

Well, I was not aware that the builds are not available anymore, and if so - wouldn‘t it make more sense to ask about them in the thread where they have been shared before? Just my 2 cents…

Those builds are available. But there were more, and apparently there existed 10A261 that was running on G5, which we do not have.

Unlikely that the same build 10A261 existed in various platform supporting binaries. The 10A261 that we found does not run on PPC, see table on the other threads page #1.
More likely, this is some kind of typo or version confusion about this "developer seed".
And again, why not continue on the dedicated and more fruitful thread? More people reading and listening in there, I'd guess, resulting a better chance of finding new builds, if existent at all. ;-)

Sure, and I have been posting in that thread for quite a while. I commented here to possibly get a reply from a specific person whose comment I quoted.
