10.7.5 - No Dictation?

I was looking for Dictation as I am running Lion, but don't see it. In preferences it just has "Speech". Why is this, and how can I get Dictation?

You need a newer operating system, or 3rd party software like Dragon Dictate. Apple's dictation didn't show up until Mountain Lion was released.

That's why I'm confused. I'm on 10.7.5, which is Lion. Unless I'm mistaken.

You need 10.8 mountain lion or higher. How new is your computer? If you can, upgrade to 10.9 mavericks because it is free.

Ya, you should be able to just go on the mac app store, download, and install 10.9. Then hit the "fn" key twice and dictation should start.
