10.8.5 disables TRIM on non-Apple SSDs

Just letting you all know that 10.8.5 appears to disable the TRIM Enabler patch (or similar) that many of us use on our non-Apple SSDs. I have re-enabled with TRIM Enabler and everything is fine again.

To check (if you don't know) either use TRIM Enabler (it will be switched off) or check in System Info --> SATA/SATA Express and click on SSD and check TRIM Support.

Thanks for the info, but I think it well known already that you have to reapply the patch after all 10.x.x updates. 🙂
