I haven't been able to find any information on a 10.9.1 release date.

How long after most major releases does the .1 release come out? It's been around 2 weeks now. What's been typical in the past?

I'd like to upgrade, but all the warnings about freezing and incompatibilities scare me.

Just did some googling:

For comparison,

10.6.0 was released August 28th
10.6.1 was released September 10th

10.7.0 was released July 20th
10.7.1 was released August 16th

10.8.0 was released on July 25th.
10.8.1 was released on August 23rd.

So, usually just shy of a month for newer releases, as fast as 2 weeks for 10.6.

Or it just meant to say Apple is not in a rush to release 10.9.1… I guess around late Nov or early Dec… 😱

...or, given that its in some developers' hands already, we may see it sooner rather than later. However, its not in Apple's best interest to see an early release of 10.9.1 if demand is not there as it acknowledges problems with 10.9.0.

10.9.1; When??????

tired of the issues with mavericks, specially the problems with the external monitor forgeting the resolution after waking up from sleep, I wonder when is apple gonna fix this?

I´m an early adopter and I always run the new operating system from dp1, in a diferent partition, then when everything seems ok, I make it my main partition, and keep a backup with the older partition, just in case. Problem is that OSx is always full of bugs until 10.X.2...

Next time I won't bite the apple...
