anyone notice that if you hold down OPTION in Quickview when viewing a large pic, iphone, mac etc... it zooms in, and keeping OPTION key held down you can pan over the original image with track-pad without needing to open it up in Preview ?

You only need to click the OPTION key ( not hold it down )
Click it again to go back to normal size.

This may be an old issue, but still

If you hold down OPTION while clicking the wi-fi status icon, u can see detailed info of your wi-fi connection.

Guys I'm on MacBook Pro 2006 with ATI x1600. The last official OSX is Lion, it works perfectly but no iMessage and safari can't open some sites because of old certificates. I used a custom patch and installed Mavericks on this laptop. It works okay, with some minor graphical artifacts, but safari still can't open some sites and iMessage can't connect to its servers. So I think maybe it will be good to get back to Lions since I'm forced to use another browser anyway.

Any pros on Mavericks over Lion? Thanks.

mavericks has many new features
imessage still works, and you can get a lot of stable apps running on it
lion did not get the security update from 2015, so it is unable to connect to most modern websites

I wish I could run something like 10.9 or earlier on my M3 iMac. I liked the design much more than the new one.

you could by some old macs from ebay or another reselling website
most used ones arent as bad as you may think
if you already have a magsafe cable then try to find one without the cable for a cheaper price
