10.9 HDMI Output > 1920x1200?

Can anyone confirm with their Mac Mini's or rMBP that they can output 2560 x 1440 on OS X 10.9 via HDMI.

To my understanding the output of 1440p via HDMI was limited by the operating system, so your maximum output was 1920 x 1200 (or 1080p) but the HDMI ports are 1.4.

I'm also interested. I was not able to get any resolution beyond 1920x1200 via hdmi even with switchresx.
