Ingot mine yesterday and had it fully charge by noon. Since its a new toy I played with it nonstop, games , web, phone calls, pics etc. by ten I clock it still had 15 percent or so of battery life.
Today , I was out with the Ms's, and though I wasn't on it non stop , I did take a lot of pictures , some web surfing, tools some videos, and since about 11:30 am ( it's now 10:10pm, and I'm using the phone to type this post) I have exactly 46% battery left. I'm happy with this battery life.
Love, love, love this phone

I'm only getting around 7-8 hrs at most from my 6+.. I think I really need to set it up as a new device. It's been a few years since I've set up as new.

Yes i think its time you will see the difference im convinced!

My standby time would be more impressive if I actually put the thing down every now and then today, but I'm thrilled with my results:

So is the 6+ meant to have a lot better battery life than the 6?

I used the 6+ for about a day before I decided to go to the 6 because I preferred the smaller size. One thing I noticed was the brightness on that huge screen absolutely KILLS battery.

I am so happy with my 6's battery right now it is bloody slaughtering through time!

Standby: 1 day 17 hours
Usage: 9 hours 22 minutes

Battery is at 16%

That's with browsing on wifi/3G, tons of text messaging, lots of web surfing, a few phone calls, a couple hours of music playback, some bluetooth music playback.

So happy with it.

This is what I'm at right now. I can't say I'm disappointed but reviewers and people on the forum made it seem like it would last a lot longer.

Overall though the fact that I could take it off the charger at 10:30 AM, use it fairly heavily throughout the day and still have 9% at 5:00 AM the next day is really impressive. I'm really happy with this phone.

I can't tell you exactly what my usage times were. But taking it off the charger at 6:45 am and not having to plug it in until 6 pm the following night is pretty damn awesome. I use the crap out of my phone; forums, text, games, and some music. I have my brighteness turned way down only because this huge screen seems way too bright to me. I'll definitely take this battery life for sure. My 4s was getting charged 2-3 times a day.

Well I'm impressed! I went out with 10% battery and 3 hours later I had 3% ( with moderate use and some calls)

This is where I will be finishing for this cycle. Probably the 2nd best I have had. I can probably squeeze another 15-20 minutes of usage if I try before it shuts down. I figure those getting 2-3 hours more of usage are probably using there phone more heavily with less standby time. I was considering restoring as new but don't think it's worth the trouble at this point.

Alright cool, it fits my use needs and it appears that the battery life I'm getting is normal as well, so no complaints here.

My complaint was pre matute and this is my last cycle

That's more like it. My phone has a loss of about 20% every 2.5 hours of usage. So roughly 12.5 hours of usage per charge so far. When it hit 1% before it's first recharge, it took over an hour to kill it after. I was actually frustrated because it dragged out my bedtime lol.

Seems like cell reception has an impact. My usage hours were low for the first few cycles too, but so was my cell reception. Yesterday I did a full cycle to check it again because I was getting much better reception and my usage hours look a lot better:

I was able to squeeze almost an extra 45 minutes out of my last 3% including streaming 22 minutes of a podcast on the last 1% with the screen off finishing with 9 hours 12 minutes. I think for this cycle I am going to avoid all games completely and see what happens. I've noticed that those with 11-12 hours of usage, you don't see any gaming apps in the usage screen taking up battery.

This was the best I was able to get so far...usually goes down 10% every 1.5 hrs for me (usage, not standby).

Coming from my iPhone 5 (which I had to charge 2-3 times a day), I'm ecstatic!

EDIT: I have never been able to recreate this since. I have no clue how I was able to get over 10hrs of usage and STILL have 69% BATTERY LEFT.

Are you guys using the 5W charger that came with it, or a 12W charger? I've always used a 12W charger on my iPhones and feel as though that makes a difference of how much daily usage I get out of my phone. And I'll continue to do so when I get my Plus.

Did you ever notice any decrease of battery capacity using the iPad charger? The rapid charge plus heating up intimidates me using one of those for my Plus as I did attempt an iPad charger for one of my Plus charge cycle.

Not particularly I don't think. Maybe lately on my 5S (I've had since launch day), but that may also be contributed to the OS upgrades. I just feel like I've used the 5W charger over night and would have to charge it more often the next day than I would with a 12W charger.

EDIT: I skipped out on the 5, but with the 4S charger it wasn't till maybe a year of owning the phone did I start using the 12W charger, and that definitely seemed to make a difference for me. Towards the end though, right before the 5S came out, the battery was definitely wearing out, but by that time I didn't care or pay attention to battery cycles at all.

I just use the 5W charger that came with it (well, right now the one I'm using is the one that came with my 5 and the one with my 6+ is in the box still as a spare). I charge overnight so I don't care if it takes a little longer.

I'm using the 12W from my iPad Air.

Ive been using the 12w also for all my iphones and it charges the 6 plus way faster than the the 5w or 10w....

I get about 1 hour for every 10% on my 5S, 6 and 6+. Doesn't seem like any come out ahead.

My 5s never did that well, but my 6+ is the same. Pretty steady 10% per hour. I haven't used it much today. I have 9 hours standby, 1 hour and 20 minutes usage and I'm still at 92%. My 5s would be down to 90-94 by the time I got to work most days.

10 hour usage iPhone 6+

I got about 8.5 hours usage with BT always on. 50% brightness. Background app refresh for selected apps. Seriously no one is gonna browse the web on phone for 10 hours straight.
