I updated my macbook to leopard yesterday and then today i decided to calibrate my battery. When the charge gets to around 10%, the macbook just shuts down instantly. and then I have to put in the power cable to start up again..

I have reset pram and smu.. But these have made no difference..

It must be a leopard thing cause this wasnt happening with tiger...

Also recently i installed a new hard drive, Would this have anything to do with it??

Anybody know whats happening??

Thanks P.........

I've had this issue too. What i did was plug it in for a bit, reboot it and then let it sleep before pulling out the cable. Leave it sleep for a few hours and the little sleep light will go off. This should "calibrate" it for a while.

Although when charged my macbook constantly flickers between "charged" and "charging". Bloody annoying, not to mention the flakey Wi-Fi when on battery!

Thats a good idea.. never thought of that.. but do u have to do this everytime u calibrate?

Also i know how you feel about the flickering "charged" and "charging" thing.. it happens to me aswell...
