I'll start it with the 50 I just did
The number of people contributing to the 10,000 pushups is dwindling, and you want to do 100,000 situps?
Change the goal to 5,000 sit-ups, and you may have a thread.
I think that the initial participation was good but it has waned over time.
Doubt you would get many to try the 100,000 level. Sorry.
You two are such naysayers. Where's your sense of challenge?

I hope by the term situps, we can assume that any form will do? In my workout I do all different variations. Guess I should go get started. My goal today is 300, back in a few minutes with an update.
Have to admit, this type of challenge keeps me going, thanks thechidz... and Iscariot... for initiating these challenges.
Oh, and I think that 100,000 is a good number; after all, it's much harder to do pushups than it is situps, at least for me anyway. I can do around 100 push-ups, but at least 3 times that many situps.

I did 50 this morning, but I was holding a 20 pound weight across my chest while I did them - I should get a couple extra for that.
Yes, I am. I'm a bit sore today as a result, but still planning on cranking out 300 push ups.
It just takes practice. I've been doing sit ups and other stomach crunch variations for about fifteen years now. My personal best is over a thousand in sets of 300. And I actually don't (currently) have a six-pack.
Me too. I can't do a single sit-up. Not one. I can do one, but my tailbone will hurt.
I just raise my upper body high enough off the ground, and count that as a "sit-up". I don't know what you actually call these, perhaps "crunches" or something.
Anyway, the only time I don't have a 6 pack is after dinner, and maybe after a large lunch.
I just did 40, so that's 863 total.
I did 60, not as many as I had planned, but I ran out of time.

sit ups or crunches? i can do 100 crunches in a minute and a half...marine corps standard 100 crunches in 3 minutes. LOL easy stuff
Whatever you prefer really. Mine consists of 11 different ab exercises.
