No. Technology changes over time and prices fluctuate. Apple purposely stopped selling phones well in advance so that people couldn't complain about this.

The rebate/refund at the beginning was because they screwed the early adopters (debatable I am sure). Anyone who would be seeking a refund now is NOT an early adopter. They are a last minute trying to buy it as cheap as possible adopter.

Not that its bad, but do not expect or even ask for a rebate/refund if you waited this long to buy one.

Note: when I say *you*, I do NOT mean you specifically. Its a generalized you.
