100% - NO Power Mac G4 speed bumps

Hey guys. I have been waiting for the MacWorld expo patiently to buy a PowerMac for video editing. I have a PC now and... well... you know. I AM willing to wait until August. Most of the things on Think Secret were pretty dead on about today. Do you really think new PowerMacs will come in august? If so I will wait. If not then I will buy a powermac now. I just dont want a new one to come out next month!

I have no problem waiting... that just makes it showing up on my doorstep all that much better Plus they will probably ship with OS X.2

I thought about it... but the 17" 800mhz Imac won't cut it working on Final Cut Pro 3. I want a 1.2ghz powermac at least!

Please let me know what to do! Hope for August???

P.S. I dont give a crap about the color of the CPU or keyboard... or MAX POWER and all that super duper speed stuff. I just want a mac that is dependable... won't crash on me.... is very use friendly... easy to use... and runs my videos on FCP3. Thats All.

I don't know what is up with Apple...No news about Powermac @ two MW in the rows...they concentrate on more consumer market, digital apps, consumer computers...

and graphic software makers are loosing money. Macromedia, Adobe, etc...I hope they keep making software for Apple in the future...

if you don't get the hardware what good is the software...

instead of some ppl leaving macs cuz new powermacs werent released today (thats a lil lame tho dont u think?), i'm going to get into powermacs probably sometime this fall, since the imacs wont cut it, cuz i thought the specs would be better...but guess not, but i hope apple brings in some gooood powermacs in august then i'dd be really happy when i get it
