You've been selected to help out a complete stranger and to do this, you've been allocated $1000. Who would the stranger be, and what would you do to help them?

Almost impossible.

How do you know who is worthy enough, if they are a complete stranger?

There is no one STRANGER than ijohnhenry and I would not know him if I saw him in the street. He most certainly needs the $1,000 for his urgent requirement of psychiatric assistance.

KGB:cool:

Probably the best idea since that way he can keep making his own money. Kinda like give a guy a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish..
He still needs the means to catch his own fish. For example, you could teach me how to ride a bike, but if I haven't got a bike to ride, what good is the teaching?

How about this, find a homeless guy that looks like he want to be better off, find him a place to rent and pay the first month, get him a haircut, couple of outfits and maybe even help him get a job that doesn't require too much qualification.

That way you'd be teaching a man to fish...

Or maybe I just need to go to sleep.
