Just ordered the new Dell U3818DW 38 inch ultra wide. It provides 100w charging to the MacBook Pro via USB-C. I'm wondering if that is too much for the MacBook Pro? Any thoughts?

Well, you can't really connect to a power source over 100W since thats the max supported by USB and any cable offering more is terribly broken :)

I've been using my Late 2016 15" MacBook Pro with the AORUS GTX 1070 Gaming Box. It provides 100W of power delivery. There's no issues.

I've been using a lg 27ud88 which only offers around 65W. So under high load charging bay going negative but otherwise Mac is happy and keeps topped up
