This article I found while meandering through the interwebz is from 1997, right before the Apple Rennisance had started.

I find it hilarious that some of these ideas actually came true, others are completely rediculous, and some are sad reminders of how Apple once was, and how Apple is.

I recommend reading the entire thing. Some writers at Wired had a quite clear vision of the future, some didn't.

My favorite is "Merge with Sega and become a Game Company" lmao.
