Hi Guys,

Got my Toshiba 1TB MK1059GSM 5400rpm Hard Drive today so cloned it and put it in and am very happy. Yeah its 12.5mm but fits great no issues what so ever there's plenty of room for it.

It gave me 980gb after formatting it.

Its no louder than my standard 160gb drive and i'm not noticing any more vibrations or Clicking.

Just waiting for my 8gb of Crucial RAM :D

Anyway here's afew pictures

Watching these pics I realise how useless is the DVD drive, especially on the 13''.
How big of a HDD can one put in the DVD bay?

No one knows? I really want a terabyte drive but I don't want to skimp on 37 bucks to get the Samsung if the Western Digital is a better drive.

Has anyone had a bad experience with the samsung in a 13" MBP?

i think there was a member on here that took out his DVD drive and put in another HDD. don't remember who it was.

Nice, how does it compare battery wise? I want a TB Drive in mine too, but Battery Life is crucial to me.

Wow nice! Too bad I only used ~20GB on my Mac. I use my desktop PC for all of my media stuff which takes up the most space.

What?? Lol! The Samsung drive is made by Samsung. Not Seagate.

Also, your Apple computer was made by Apple, not Dell.

You are too sharp for me...Wew!

i was referring to the post below...as it says the Seagate drive dropped to 79.99 but when you click on the link it goes to a Samsung drive.

FYI Newegg just lowered the price of Seagate's 1Tb drive to $79.99. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152242

Also, if you are referring to my signature, I have a Dell and a MBP and an Iphone and an iPad to match....Thanks for you help!

BTW...I just ordered the Samsung drive worst case I will put it in my PS3 made by Sony not Microsoft although I have and Xbox and Wii too...if you were concerned! :D

Actually, if you really want to be specific, your Apple is made by Hon Hai/Foxconn, and so is your Dell, Acer, Asus, HP etc... ;)
