1080p movies in iTunes UK store?

Was wondering if anyone knew what the deal with 1080p movies in the UK was?

It was my understanding that we could only download movies in 720p with some

only TV shows available in 1080p.

Went to download Moneyball on my IMac and it said it was only available in 720p

but on my new IPad it said that it was available in 1080p? Not sure why there

is any difference 😕

I noticed this too: some movies showing only 720p but when browsing the store on the iPad showing 1080p available. I went ahead and bought Kill Bill 2 and The Social Network last week while they were on sale and the KB2 file is 1080p but TSN is only 720p. My guess is that several of these are in the process of being updated to 1080 so the store "details" displays are not yet accurate enough to trust. I would hope that - like the US store - we'll get free updates to 1080 as they become available but movie rights are so much worse over here so no guarantees :/
