At work I upgraded from an Acer 22" LCD to a Magnavox 37" LCD TV (1080p, 1920X1080) for reading blueprints on-screen.

Here is the issue. It looks terrible!

My machine is a Mac Mini 1.66, so we thought it was the video card.

Tried my MBP- works great native res and all.

Tried my Boss' MBP, identical to mine - looks like crap like the Mini.

We have a Mac Pro (which may help) on the way to replace the Mini, but I'd sure like to figure it out between now and end of next week. This image is making me wanna puke... literally.

Your help is greatly appreciated!

It is the integrated video card. Your other option might be a refresh rate if you are connecting through VGA.

But why the same results on a MBP of identical specs?

It seems something is not right!

Thanks!

You double checked the resolution in System preferences?

Yes, tried that a several times. Resolution, frequency, overscan, you name it. Its as if my MBP has a driver or something that the other two don't.

Thanks!
