6-Month old 15" 1.5ghz G4 PowerBook.

I opened her up tonite and saw a squigly through the bluetooth icon. When i click on it it says BlueTooth not available.

Any suggestions? Has my PowerBook done something wrong  . It would be the first time :(

I presume you opened it up from sleep mode?

Try rebooting. It's happened to a few people, and rebooting seems to fix it.

And next time some hardware goes offline, try rebooting before asking.

I did try rebooting a few times before posting. Still no luck.

common problem with Powerbooks... you need to zap the PRAM... Reboot the computer and after you hear the chime hit "Command(Apple Key) + Option(Alt Key) + P + R" you should hear a second chime, computer should boot normally, with bluetooth :)

Power down. take the battery out. wait 30 seconds. put the battery back in and reboot. BT should be back in action.

Sorry to bump this, but Im having the same problem and have tried all this and more! :(

Any other ideas?
