T Thussy macrumors member Original poster Feb 7, 2005 #1 6-Month old 15" 1.5ghz G4 PowerBook. I opened her up tonite and saw a squigly through the bluetooth icon. When i click on it it says BlueTooth not available. Any suggestions? Has my PowerBook done something wrong 😱 . It would be the first time 🙁

B Bear macrumors G3 Feb 7, 2005 #2 I presume you opened it up from sleep mode? Try rebooting. It's happened to a few people, and rebooting seems to fix it. And next time some hardware goes offline, try rebooting before asking.

JeDiBoYTJ macrumors 6502a Feb 7, 2005 #6 common problem with Powerbooks... you need to zap the PRAM... Reboot the computer and after you hear the chime hit "Command(Apple Key) + Option(Alt Key) + P + R" you should hear a second chime, computer should boot normally, with bluetooth 🙂
