10G NIC for 2010 Mac Pro?

Is there any reasonable solution to upgrade the old gal to 10G? I'm moving to the future so my main PC and NAS can have a faster link, and if the MP can't be upgraded easily enough I won't sweat having a switch with more than 2 ports.

I'm searching too, reading about people flashing Intel cards and such.. yuck. Even the non-bootleg cards are $500.

i use a myricom 10G XFP card which works fine, it needs as expected by age 4 lanes to work so is ideal for slot 3/4.

Has osx drivers by manufacturer, they also survived to 10.13 fine.

Paid less than 50€ used, only downside is that they get fairly hot as server design.
