I have a 10th gen iPad that I bought new just over 3 years ago. Last night, it got locked up and is completely non-responsive. I have tried to reset it in the usual ways, and so far none have worked. I have tried the following:
Much appreciated.
I have a 10th gen iPad that I bought new just over 3 years ago. Last night, it got locked up and is completely non-responsive. I have tried to reset it in the usual ways, and so far none have worked. I have tried the following:
- Hold the Sleep and Volume buttons for 30+ seconds, never get the usual "slide to power off" menu, and it does not just shutdown.
- Hold the Sleep button for 30+ seconds, it does not shutdown.
- Per Apple support page, for iPads without the home button, I tried hitting volume up, volume down, sleep button - nothing.
- Per Apple support page, connected iPad to a Windows system, launch iTunes, go to the Devices menu option in iTunes, does NOT even see the iPad as connected. Tried this several times, never sees the iPad.
- Per Apple support page, tried same when connecting the iPad to my 2013 MacBook Pro (Big Sur MacOS), also does not even see the iPad as a connected device.
Much appreciated.
