guys - I have do not disturb set at night to only allow calls from favorites but it looks like all calls coming through. Anybody else notice this?

Thx

works fine for me. make sure the PM/AM times are correct. or turn it off, hard reset and turn it back on?

people are calling just once. AM/PM looks fine though I did move time zones 12 hours ahead. Rebooted the phone a few times. Even upgrading to 11.0.3 hasn't worked. Can someone test scheduled DND on their phone and report back - thx

ok got it to work trying basically every single option but now it doesn't block calls with unknown caller ID. Any fix for that?

There’s no fix for unknown caller. DND only blocks contacts and filters favourites.

Hiya app to help filter out known spam/telemarketers, but it too will allow blocked numbers (ie. Shows up "Unknown" in CID name field) to get through.

Prior to using Hiya (but will keep up the practice anyway), I have set my default ringtone to a silent ringtone I found on the web. Friends and family, I manually assign a non-silent ringtone.

Short of putting phone into 24 hour DnD and setting the DnD "Silence" option to Always, calls will inevitably get through.

Something is def wrong with DND. I have DND set up for an iMessage thread (both on Mac and iphone). And Im getting alerts for all of them. But Mac OS and iOS are up to date.

Mine did this tonight. Calls were coming through even though my dnd was on, set to silence always, and double calling off. I use this every day and this hasn’t happened before. Pretty annoying

No idea if working or not since I don't get calls at night, even telemarketing.

EDIT: see my earlier post in this thread re: call blocking apps, silent ringtones.

Someone suggested an interesting workaround for calls without caller ID (not sure how well it works though):

If you are referring to people calling without showing a phone number, go into settings > phone > contact list > make a contact called "No caller ID" and set the number as 000-000-0000. After you do this, go into your phone app, find the new contact you made, click edit and then enable the block option.
