11.1 - 120hz always on?

hi, upon updating to 11.1, my 12.9 2017 ipad is not showing any jerkiness AT ALL, looks like 120hz/ProMotion was enabled or fixed, to ne always on?

That’s rather a pleasant update then.
 
It's controlled by IOS and shifts between 30 and 120hz depending on what you are doing.
It is not user controllable.
