Hi guys, Ive been reading about all the happy customers with the new macbook air, and want to get one myself.

My question was, do you current owners think that the box would fit in a standard backback? I want to get one, but I have only have a motorcycle, and would use my backpack to bring it home from the apple store.

    thanks in advance

Order it online, since you can't get 4 GB from the retail store.
    :p

I would probably fit if you don't have too much else in there.

Yes, my 13" fit in my regular sized backpack perfectly. I wouldn't imagine yours not being able to.

The whole box, not just the computer.

Buy it in store and online. Return the store one when the online order comes in haha.

My local store says within 14 days, no fee. After 14 days, yes. Again, my local store's policy, not saying it will be like that for yours. Best bet is to call and find out.

Wow, that surprises me. Thought for sure that box would be too big.

The box my 13" MBP came in fits into my backpack (which is a pretty small backpack), so you can go to the Apple store right now to pick one up.;)
    It works for me too.
