11 hours for a software update????

I wanted to download IOS5 and iCloud but I went to the Apple log first to do a software update. It said there were available updates. I clicked update at 4pm and it is now 7:30pm. It still says 178mb out of 949mb. What gives?

Did you check on what the updates consisted of?

The vast amount of people trying to get the update springs to mind, leave it a while and try again.
