What excellent service from Apple chat advisor

After quick diagnostics -with no immediate hardware fault showing.

I've since booked \Genius bar appointment this Sat 29th June

11" iPad camera is way off centre whilst in landscape
Only when iPad is tilted one direction does portrait show a correct centre photo
I have established that it would appear my camera is in effect pointing to the left -considerably off centre.

Thankfully Device only a few months old and in warranty.
Hopefully Genius Bar will repair or replace the unit.

I am not sure what you are trying to express. You had a chat and they can’t verify a hardware issue with the camera so you need to have a technician/Genius look at the device in person.

What great things did the person on the chat do for you if I may ask?

Fingers crossed it will be repaired quickly.

Not in front of iPad today.

Apple e chat asked me access remote diagnostics from settings general about screen and I run test from bottom of that screen

iPhone XS camera is centred correctly as was iPad 10.5

Must be unlucky with 11" camera

Genius Bar went as well as expected.
My user error in failing to understand position of iPad camera.
Which means centred object will appear opposite side of camera until photo is taken.
Much simpler to use vertical rather than horizontal.
