What case will you be getting?

Just received this case in the post for the XI Pro Max and put my XS Max in and it's a perfect fit apart from the mute switch.

Now I'm not sure if I'll be getting a black or white one this year, I've always been put off with the chance of the black chipping/pitting due to grit getting into the case.
I've always preferred the black iPhones and have a black & red thing going on at the mo with my iPad case, trainers, watch and wedding ring etc.
I was thinking about getting the white and wrapping it black. That way it'll look great in the red trimmed case but I won't have the worry of the dust & grit marking the frame.

Now if Apple would just use the same DLC coating they use on the watch I'd be happy as hell, but I doubt they ever will.

I’ve had the space grey iPhone X and XS and I’ve used cases similar to this and I’ve never had an issue where the finish came off due to grit. In fact I think it’s less prone to scratching compared to the silver version.

If you want to get the black but are afraid of paint chipping, put a clear skin on the phone. Case compatibility may be different for some brands, but I usually don't have an issue.

That case states it's skin friendly so the may be the best idea.

I'll be getting the tried and true Otterbox Defender. It's so dependable and protective. I am looking forward to the version with the integrated pop socket, I assume it will be available for this phone

Otterbox is great, but since they ditch the screen protector, i just dump it.
Now I prefer the UAG, still wait for their launching.

I am glad they got rid of the built in screen protector on the Defender, it was a pain point for me.

I like UAG as well

Knock on wood, I remove my case often and no issues with my space gray Max. Hope this helps
