Has anyone had a bad experience with Apple certified refurbished? Considering returning the air and ordering a 10.5 pro.
I've bought five Apple certified refurbished iPads over the years. One of them had an issue right from the start so I just returned that. The rest are working just fine.

Even new devices aren't exempt from issues. I think I've had 3 iPhones (iPhone 5 home button) and 1 iPad go bad on me, all purchased new. The important thing is apart from the fresh battery (and chassis for aesthetic purposes), Apple certified refurbs have 1-year warranty same as new devices.

I am happy with my 9.7. Main reason for me to get a new one was to give it to my son.

Not going to lie, the 62 pages in the “bend” thread concerned me.
You would find thread like that on almost every apple product, on Macrumors.
And everyone “did nothing to bend it”.

Foe me the pro is a non-brainer as I love promotion and those amazing speakers. Plus having Face ID just like my phone is super helpful. It’s also my main computing device so I felt justified getting the nice one.
