More, not most. Steve is worth 8.3 Billion and his Disney Stock is worth 4.4 Billion.

ive yet to spend money on an app. plenty of free stuff im still sorting through.

Same here. I already have most of the paid apps I need because I had them on iPad 1. I don't really download many paid apps, except for a game here & there. :p

Don't let people get to ya, OP. I think it's silly spending so much money on apps, but it's your thing. Cases for my phone, baseball, & music are my things. We all have a thing. There's nothing wrong with that!

I'm a bit surprised after reading a few of the replies that anyone took my jab at Steve seriously. In an off beat way I was trying to start a conversation on how much we spend on the iPad other than the on the actual iPad.

I'll try to be more serious in the future:rolleyes:

I'd considered posting in the apps section but the thread is not really about apps it's about the investment we make in iOS.

The 'I don't buy apps' reply was unexpected. Not right or wrong, if your finding the apps you want for free that's great, it was just unexpected. For me the iPad would be irrelevant without great apps.

I'll admit to going a bit overboard at the app store, and I'm completely happy with most of what I purchased.

I hadn't considered that a lot of you already had apps from the original iPad. I had a few that carried over from my iPhone but even some of those needed to be repurchased.

I've already spent nearly $200 on apps and books, and I haven't even looked at movies or music yet. Then another $100 or so on iPad accessories.

As a Shareholder I'd just like to thank you for your contribution to my retirement :D

It's only been 48 hours since I picked up the iPad 2 and I've already spent nearly $200 on apps and books, and I haven't even looked at movies or music yet. Then another $100 or so on iPad accessories.

How can Steve be all the way down at 110 on the richest man in the world list. Is this normal or am I just an app whore  Come on now how much of your money's gone into Apples coffers this week not including your iPad.

His income doesn't come from Apple. It comes from Disney.
