Apple seems to be putting the final touches on OS X Lion which is set to launch in July. They have pushed out a new software update for developers who are running the Developer Preview 4 that was released at WWDC.

There's no word on what has changed between versions. OS X Lion will be launching sometime in July for $29.99 via the Mac App Store.

Still no Rosetta?

It's impossible for Rosetta to be added back at this point. All the system files are intel-only.

Is it still stuck on OpenGL 2.1 or are the rumors (OpenGL 3.2 support) true?

I wish Mac Rumors had held off for a bit before posting this news item: my download has gone from 15 minutes remaining 1/2 hour ago to 2 hours now ;)

In SL, if you open a folder in the Finder it will zoom open and zoom close.

In Lion, are there any animations more generally for windows, e.g., opening and closing a Safari window?

Yes, windows, including dialogues, have a "zoom" open animation. Dialogues have an animation when you close them as well.

Screenshots of changes?

Had to take it with my iPhone camera - but after the grey Apple screen with the spinning gear, the screen now sits on an indented Apple logo with the dark grey linen BG before your desktop loads.
