I know this has been asked a million times and I've read all the info. I was dead set on getting the 10.5 air but BestBuy has a sale on the 256gb 11inch pro wifi model which brings it down to $799.

Is the 11inch pro worth the $150 difference between it and the air? I read through the bending threads as well so i'm a little concerned about that.

If this is for the 2018 pro, definitely go with that. The smaller bezels, FaceID, Apple Pencil 2 support, 120HZ display, and A12x chip are definitely worth the extra money.

Or just get a 2017 Pro which has all of the pro features except for FaceID.

iPad Air on steroids.

I got my 10.5 256GB pro cellular from Microcenter for $575.

Op, It's worth looking into it if you live near a Microcenter and want to save some cash for other things.

Definitely go for 11inch iPad Pro. You don’t want to ignore USB-C and its huge potential. Also, A12X, Face ID (this one is questionable), quad speaker, Apple Pencil 2 support, 120Hz display are all great advantages over iPad Air 3.

If the difference is only $150, it is well worth the price. Yes there might be some durability concerns so you just have to make sure it is always handled and transported with care and not squashed in between. If you see yourself getting the Apple Pencil, definitely go for the 2018 Pro.

That said, you may still wanna consider the 10.5 Air if you do not think that you’ll benefit from 0.5~ more screen, thinner bezels and quad speakers.

For a US$150 difference, the 11" Pro is a slam dunk win over the 10.5" Air.

I would have bought the 11" Pro if prices were like that in Canada. But they weren't so I bought the 10.5" Pro (not Air). The 10.5" Pro had a deep discount (to pricing lower than the 10.5" Air, despite the fact the 10.5" Pro has several advantages over the 10.5" Air), but the 11" Pro had no discount at all here.
