You've heard of a three-dog night? Maybe we can measure temperature from now on by how many 12" PowerBooks you need. Brrrr - it's gotta be down to 4 PowerBooks tonight!

Well I am damnit - it's so bloody cold here at the moment. Australians don't know a damn thing about "insulation" in their buildings. I want the hottest PB there is, and I want the fan to exhast forwards to it warm me as I use it. Fed up with Melbourne. Give me a 12" toaster now.

If only the iPod got hot enough, I could wear a couple of them in my jacket. Maybe I should write to Apple and suggest they shove a g4 in them next rev. With a full metal case.

Hmmmmm...warmmmmm.

Up until a few months ago, I was using my 550TiBook, an 80gig FireWire drive, a fan-less metal 8-port 100-base hub and my ADSL modem and it was nice and toasty in my room. (I recommend a fan-less metal hub, those'll heat up in NO time.)

Drop by anytime :D

Your sig says you've got an xserve too! I bet that gets nice an warm.

When I get my adsl, maybe we can just pass gig's of data bewteen us to generate a load heat out of our hubs and routers :)

I was going to get a old G3 iMac to use as a firewall/apache server/etc, but on second thoughts I should probably get an eMac - G4, crt..think of all those lovely watts!

Lol :p I love it.

Btw, this thread is going nowhere fast, but is still one of the best  - I don't know what's up with people at the moment. Maybe a mod will move it to the community section for us.

Lack of powerbooks ariving in the wee hours of the morn that have come and gone.

The very *cold* wee hours of the morn.

You could certainly do with a toasty powerbook to keep you warm in the wee hours of the morning while waiting for the powe...

DOH!
