Hi there,

Still using 12.4.1 and was waiting for 13.3 for quite a while. Was reading about battery drain problem today. Do you think it's stable now? Should i wait for 14? :)

People have been reporting it’s the same, maybe a little better. Dark mode helps on top of that if you have an OLED display.

I envy your position so very much. Stay on iOS 12 until you have confirmation from the masses that iOS 14 is a must download. iOS 13 still has enough bugs that, if given the choice, I would remain on iOS 12.

I’m quite sure there was people complaining about battery drain when 12.4.1 was released, as well.
This is something we always see at every iOS update: people complaining about battery drain that has little to do with the update itself.
I think iOS 13.3 is a quite stable version, and in my opinion much better than 12.4.1

In fact 13.3 have actually more problems than previous iOS 13 builds. Even iOS 11 was better than this crap OS.

In my case I'm on 13.2.3 and I'll stay there until they fix the issues with .3.

No issues with 13.3 here, had issues with previous versions but all fixed now. No idea what people are talking about being this is the buggiest version of iOS 13.

I have a mixed feeling of iOS 13 as overall it is running fine but certain apps bugs me quite a bit. I don’t know if that is an iOS problem or app problem because any other app in my iPhone does not have the same issue. But for upgrade, unless you have a very compelling reason to do so, or there is a feature that you cannot live without, don’t do it.

It’s broken in some aspect where many people will not see because they don’t use these features like some accessibility options that are completely broken since iOS 13.0 and they are even more broken at a point they are just unusable now since 13.3.

If you don't need the features I'd stay on 12.4.1.

As far as 13.2.3 vs. 13.3.0 goes, with one exception I find them equivalent. The thing that 13.3 seems to have fouled up on my phone is the Home app. I first thought it was Control Center control of HomeKit devices, but going to the Home app has all the same problems - specifically, very frequent failures to connect.

I stayed on 12.4.1 with my iphone 6S after reading all the report about bugs. I took the plunge 2 days ago and upgraded to 13.3 through itunes (old habit as previous 1st gen iPhone owner). I must say I'm positively surprised, performance is similar and battery life seems even a bit better compared to 12.4.1! Absolutely no drain or whatsoever. I really like the new layout of menu items and the dark mode. So far I'm glad I updated.

I can confirm that battery life (at least on a new battery) doesn't seem to degrade with 13.3. Performance is also great.
