bottom line- if you like saving money and aren't in a rush, wait a little

That's a great price. I ordered from Amazon today (paid about $100 more but had Amazon gift cards).

It's possible these are "surplus" stock that carriers bought and want to unload. The 128GB were originally the only Cellular variant. It might explain why these models specifically are very frequently on sale on eBay.

Wish I was ready to grab one! But it sounds like these deals will keep coming in the next few months.

I'm not sure we've seen any Apple product receive such steep percentage discounts off retail so soon, ever, have we?

We are just now coming up to it being out for 6 months - Amazing

Not sure what to think about that. Was it priced to high and now that the early adopters picked one up at premium pricing they are lowering the price for the masses? Or is it just an expensive niche product?

I have maintained that I just think the price was too high to begin with?

Especially with the larger iPad Pro where you're far more likely to want to get a keyboard, some casing and perhaps the pencil and really trick it out. Before you know it you are well into MacBook perhaps even MacBook Pro territory

Well you can ooo and aaah over the price alone but the seller has accumulated 296 negatives within the last 12 months. Whether (in totality or in part) they are valid - that can be cut both ways - it is a big red flag. I would rather pay more and buy from a legitimate retailer. Just my 2 cents.

I think I and others that got in on short lived Best Buy deal did the best.

449 for 32gb wifi 12.9 recertification refurbished was the label. I think they're just Inspected open boxes
