iPad Pro 12.9 iPad Pro M1 screen vs MacBook m2 screen question

Hi all, can someone confirm if the screen is better on the 12.9 m1 iPad Pro vs the MacBook m2 ?
I’m still on the fence on which one to get , but Leaning towards the 12.9 iPad Pro with the Magic Keyboard .

They’re very different machines, in reality. You should be basing your decisions on this concept first and foremost. If the uses that you will use either for match each machine exactly- then it’s a valid question. But ensure that this knowledge is in place first.

That iPad Pro has ProMotion and miniLED so it’s better. Did you not compare the two displays?

It’s Definitely not a work machine, just email, browse videos …. I have a 2018 MacBook pro that I barely use. Mostly use the 11 inch iPad but I want something bigger .

The iPad is superior Screen wise all other things being equal.

Could be worth waiting for the next iPad event though. If you’re not desperate. Should be around October.

A big reason I chose iPad over the MacBook Air is the ProMotion mini LED display TBH.

The M2 MacBook Air sucks balls. I just played with it and I thought the M2 MBA was thermal throttling at first, only to realize it was the 60hz display.

All my displays are 120 hz, including my 4K TV. So I guess that is why it was so weird to see this low refresh rate.

If you want a good display, go for the 14” MBP. The miniLED displays on the MacBook Pro are better than the iPad Pro.
