Current Black Friday deals have M1 iPad Pro 128GB for $799, $300 off. With Keyboard and Pencil (probably second hand through e-bay) I'm looking at $1100 for the whole kit.

What do we think, is this worth it?

FWIW, thinking of using for reading textbooks, word processing, creating powerpoint. I am a resident physician, if that matters, and want to use it to augment my studying.

I have a 2017 MacBook Pro, and the original 9.7" iPad Pro that I straight up don't use unless I'm on the treadmill. Haha.

In a word, yes. I recently picked up the 512 M1 (typing on it now). However, it really comes down to storage. I like my 512, but now I’m thinking 1TB would have been great. Not that I’m running out of space, but I do a lot of video stuff on it so it’s always in the back of my mind. 128 would be too limiting (for me). That said, if your needs are lighter (text) it should be fine. And the screen is gorgeous. Less eye strain than my previous iPad Pro 10.5 (probably because of the vibrancy and brightness).

Not bad of a deal, but like previously mentioned it’s a little light on storage. Resident physician you say. Tons of great interactive apps for physicians in App Store. If you don’t plan on downloading tons of videos and apps then 128gb should suffice but it will affect the longevity of the device. Food for thought.

It's worth it if you want a 128GB 13" iPad.

are you gonna carry it around alot or just sitting it on your desk, i have went from 12.9 to a 10.9 air and i found myself using a ipad alot more frequent now. when i need more screen real estate i just plug it into a usb c monitor.
