iPhone 12 12 has slightly smaller notch than XR

The notch has never really bothered me but i've read plenty of posts from people who can't stand it. I just upgraded to the 12 from an XR and noticed that the 12 has a very slight smaller notch. I was under the impression all iPhones from the 10 had the exact same size notch.

Not a big deal but might matter to a few ?‍♂️

Xr and 11 has thicker borders (same) because of the LCD.

Nope night shift and true tone turned off. I didn't think it was that bad.

You beat me to it. The notch is different because the display technology is completely different for the 12. The XR and 11 both had LCD displays, which had bigger bezels and bigger notch. The OLED iPhone displays are all closer to the same.

Cool i'll try that. So you did it outside in the day time or just in a regular lit room ? You toggle it on/off 10 or 20 times ?

I can't believe they are still going with these huge notches, most if not all android phones have moved on and to me they now look very dated.

In the photo the phone on the left looks warmer/more yellow. In person the phone on the right is more yellow.
