12 hour flight with iPhone X - entertainment suggestions

Hi all, I’m taking a long flight tomorrow and thinking of best ways to entertain myself for 12 hours with my new iPhone X.

Any suggestions on movies or services or games that work really well on iPhone X or that would be entertaining when stuck in a 12 hour flight?

P.S. I just saw Wonder Woman and loved it. Looked stunning on iPhone X.

Westworld. Season 1. It’s awesome.

Just binged it on a 16 hour flight. Season 2 comes in the spring. Good timing.

I'd go crazy staring at a phone screen for 12 hours. Take at least an iPad, your eyes will thank you. 😉 In my experience the best way to pass the time is binging a good TV show (Netflix is good for this since it allows downloading many shows for offline viewing).

Stranger Things. It's a great show, available to download from Netflix in HDR, and the aspect ratio is about 1.9:1 which is just about perfect on the X. When you zoom in you don't lose very much to the notch and corners, and when you don't zoom it uses more of the screen than most tv shows which are typically closer to 1.78:1.

Download peaky blinders full seasons on Netflix if possible. Great show. If you watched boardwalk empire it’s very similar. Highly recommend.

(Can’t beat the better than OLED screen of your imagination and easy on the eyes. Bonus: you’re likely to fall asleep.)
