My rMB 2017 drops internet connection after a few hours of use. The signal bars are full but things will just stop working and get a loading indicator. Example; YouTube video will pause mid way and indicate its loading but never resumes. Is this normal? This has always been a thing on this MacBook.

If I turn WIFI off and then back on, the video resumes.

Not normal.
As an experiment, use the MacBook right next to the router so it definitely has a strong signal- then try again.
The problem 'might be' the router.

Also try it on a different wifi network if possible to rule that out.

This happened at old house different router and new house new router. I thought maybe after sometime the laptop antenna needs a reset of some sort.

This happens to me as well. My only and biggest complaint. I have re-installed OS, but this happens at home wifi and new work wifi as well. After prolonged sleep - hours or a day, I will have to turn off wifi and back on to get a connection, even though it says it's connected.

It's easy to tell when this happens because dropbox, mail, messages don't connect to services.

Any solution? Or others with this issue? Mine is 2017 12" MacBook i5.
