Recently my new 2012 MBA 13 started going back to sleep about 3 seconds after i log in. It doesn't do it every time. It's maxed out on the processor and ram with 256gb harddrive.
scenario:
1) I open computer or if it's already open i tap a button for the login screen to appear
2) I log in and start doing what i want
3) As soon as i start doing something (usually within a couple of seconds) the screen goes black
4) I then hit a button again and the login screen reappears as if i never logged in the first time.
5) When i log back in the second time it stays logged in.
6) i haven't noticed if it seems to do it more when the lid is shut or open. I would expect that either way it is in the same sleep mode.
any thoughts? TIA for any help.
