A year ago I switched from a 11 Pro to a 12 mini. For my small hands, even the 12 mini is a two-handed phone. I loved its size and weight though, it's a cute yet capable device.
After a while it started to look blurry, my eyes couldn't read the tiny fonts anymore. Especially during my daily routine of solving sudokus at night. Reading emotions on emoji faces became an issue in chats ?
Coincidentally, my eyesight seemed to have gotten even worse after the iPhone 13 Pro had been introduced. Perfect excuse to upgrade! We'll see if my eyes need the iPhone 14 Pro Max next year...

I experienced the same thing with blurry vision with my 12 mini too. I swear it was after an iOS update.

If my eyes go bad when the 14 models are announced...... Imma give Tim Cook a personal visit.

Do you notice any big improvement for watching videos/movies?
I tried to watch videos/movies on my 12 Mini and surprisingly it wasnt so bad either, i was afraid it would be too small but it was actually fine enough, wondering if bigger screen of 13 Pro would help to see a drastic change about watching videos?
As far as size I find iPhone 13 Mini to be suitable for watching videos. The smaller notch probably makes a noticeable difference when watching cinematic content compared to the 12 Mini.

I’ve been using a 12 mini since February, was an adjustment initially (from 11 Pro), until it become normal and I loved it for everything except the battery life (which is atrocious, but didn’t get in the way so much due to the fact that I’m always close to a charger and it tops up so quickly).

Funny to read this. Replaced an iPhone 8 with an 128gb 12 mini last week for $5/month for 36 months on my family’s family plan (around $40/month per line with unlimited data). The battery life is a huge upgrade from my 8. I can’t imagine how great it is with the 13 mini that I’m reading has awesome battery life.

I had a 12 mini, now on a 13 mini but I do miss the telephoto lens of my old 11Pro.

I’ve always been wary of the bigger size (compared to the 11Pro) and weight, but had been considering a 13 Pro this week, this thread has convinced me to stick to my 13 Mini - thanks!
My iPhone 12 mini gets hot a lot, did yours and does your 13?
