I totally agree!

Battery life also is fantastic. Mine is totally tooled up APX, BT, 640 ram, 60 gig hd and was still $500 AUD less than the 12" powerbook

i've played with both iBook and PB keyboards and to me, there's no comparison. PB keyboard is far superior - iBook keyboard was a bit too springy for my taste. also, the keys are the same size. there's nothing "oversized" about PB keys.
Are you talking about the iBook G4 keyboard, or the G3 one? The G4 has a new keyboard, since the G3 got really bad reviews and was described as "mushy."

Let's assume that you are talking about the iBook G4 Keyboard, no the G3:

Obviously it's a matter of opinion, but I actually prefer the iBook keyboard to the 15" (don't they all have the same one?) Powerbook keyboard. Here are my reasons:

The keys aren't metal, but have a faux aluminum finish, which makes the keys feel like a cat's tongue.

Because of their convex shape the keys tend to rock side to side, as opposed to the concave iBook keys which direct your fingertip to the center of the key, and barely rock side to side at all. I can't stand the way the keys rock side to side, it bothers me a lot.

I have typed and played games on the Powerbook keyboard and can definitely say that it leaves something to be desired.

If the keyboard makes a big difference, then get the internal bluetooth module when you order (£35), and get the Apple wireless keyboard (£59). It has a really nice tactile feel to it, and it's awesome to use it without any dongles or anything..:).
