Well I've had my 12" PB for two years now and it's been brilliant from the word go. I've just been around the world for 5 months without it but I'm looking forward to reuniting with it in a week's time (and getting Tiger on the thing: I've been deprived! Not that the world is a bad thing to see, mind you :p )

Many forum members (myself included) go on and on about how much the 5200 gfx card sucks in the 12". [...] Even the iBook 12" and 14" have a better graphics card than the 12" Powerbook

There. Fixed it for you.

Still love my PB though. I just doesn't game on it.

After tossing the idea of which would the better model to pick up between the 12 and 15 PBs, I have commended myself everyday for picking up the 12er....it is a wonderful laptop, extremely portable, pretty powerful and gorgeous....

There definitely could be some improvements as have been suggested for apple to become the absolute leader in the smaller laptop segment (which it is for all practical purposes :D )......but the li'l 12er makes me real happy!!! :) :D

Finally some love for the 12'' pb!!

Finally... :D ...i was getting sick of people doggin' the 12'', because of its price and suggesting the 15''...(it is an EXTRA $300!!! )...i love cuz its so small....and it stands out...i just switched from the ibook, and i didnt realize how good/smooth the keyboard on this pb is!!! i couldnt wait for the paris expo either for the upgrade....and the free ipod deal was too good to pass up on....

I love my 12" PB. It's a fabulous machine. :)

Although I have to agree with some of the others... I lust for a backlit keyboard. And I wish the screen was a bit brighter.

Still, I adore my computer. I never said that about my Dell Inspirion 9100... crappy 45 minute battery, heavy as hell, POS. ::grumble, grumble::

Apple still got the best scores for customer support, a full 10% or so higher than Dell. That's what cost cutting to sell cheap stuff will get you.
WHAT?? Apple's CS is MUCH worse than Dell's!! WTF?
