What do you guys recommend? Do you think the ones that cost more are worth it? I’m open to paying more for one if it’s worth it. I want one that is edge to edge, has an install kit of some kind, and covers the notch.

Use otterbox alphaglass on both the wife and I’s xs max’s and already received my order from otterbox for my future 12 pro max.

I’ve really liked the Caudabe ones I got for my 11 Pro and I have them coming for my 12 Pro. If I like them I’m ordering ones for my husband’s 12 Pro Max. I have pretty much the same criteria as you do except I prefer to install freehand rather than use a kit. I think it came with a kit, though.

TechMatte iPhone 12 Pro Max I got this from amazon last weeks ago (I think... Lol) when they had it for sale for $3.99... But because I also bought the screen protector for the 12 (from same company)... I wonder if this would be a proper fitting to the iPhone 12PM screen... I am returning the 12 screen protector since users on here saying that it doesn't really fit properly... so I am skeptical the 12PM is probably the same...

These two are pretty good. They are full coverage and have no notch.

Both come with a toll to apply them.

They should both also have one for the 12 and 12 Pro if you search.
