The specs of both machines involved...
I have a 12" PB
1.33 GHz G4 processor
60GB HD
512 MB RAM
combo drive
BT and AE
Panther (but I could purchase Tiger)
- still has original 1 yr apple care until mid August

He has...
12" PB
1.5 GHz G4 processor
60GB 5400rpm HD
768 MB RAM
combo drive
mac OSX tiger (up to date)
iLife '05
bluetooth 2.0/airport xtreme
extra battery

How much cash would help me make this a fair trade?

I would somewhere in the ballpark of $300
Whew, I'm relieved... that's right where I was thinking... $250 if I add Tiger, and $300 w/out. Thanks for the quick response!!! :D

150-200 or so. Memory isn't that big of a jump and neither is the processor either. May I ask y you want this trade?
I checked on the Apple site, but I might be totally wrong, I think that the newest PB is a tad lighter than the one I have. Also, I really like Tiger and iLife, so for a few bucks more; why not get a faster processor and more RAM while I'm at it? :p
