This case is from Walmart Onn brand: https://www.walmart.com/ip/onn-Clea...tection-for-iPhone-12-iPhone-12-Pro/422590106

$4.88. It is a basic (fairly high quality) clear gel case with anti-microbial coating for under $5!

I got it for my 12 PM.

No polycarbonate. Pure clear TPU.

The fit is excellent!! All the ports are perfectly cut out as you can see from pics. Slim...on par with Apple Clear Case...same dimensions in every which way. It is shock absorbent because it is TPU all around vs. hard plastic. The buttons on the case are a dream to push...very clicky. The lip is tall enough at protecting the screen (and screen protector).

It is compatible with case-compatible screen protectors...i have the one from Best Buy. Charging port is generous in size. I have done speed test...no interference with cell signal that i can see with the case on. And yes, PopSocket attaches strongly.

The negatives...because it is a TPU case, the bezel sides do have some give, esp around power and volume buttons. The good news is that the “lip” overlaps the phone significantly...so, dust / dirt probably won’t come in a lot despite the soft lip.

The other obvious negative is that it will probably yellow on you over time because this is clear TPU. And Walmart description does not say anything about “anti-yellowing” as you see on more expensive cases. (Again, reminding everyone that this cost $4.88.) My feeling is that by the time that it yellows, i will spend another $4.88 for a new one.

For me, this case is a keeper. It is now my main case. I like it more than Apple Clear case which i returned. This covers the bottom of phone. It is grippier. The corners are TIGHT...no way it will peel back even in a drop. It takes a lot of effort to push the corners back when removing the phone from case.

Wow, that looks great, especially with the pop socket too

Is this case easy to put on and take off? Or is it one of those cases that is easy to put on but hard to take off?

I got this one the other day too and it's shockingly good for the price. It's easy enough to put on & take off, but snug enough that it's not going to accidentally pop off either.

thanks! Reason I asked is because I have a tendency to regular take off my case to clean off the dust, so I’m just concern that if it’s hard to take off, it may scratch the side stainless steel frame.

Update: while the case is tight enough, the area around the charging port is not as tight as i want. After a day use, there are dust around the bottom of the case in and around the charging port and speaker/mic.

This is expected of most cases of this type...just want to give that update.

I am back to my Speck Presidio 2 Pro case.
