My 12 Pro Max, all of sudden, wouldn't connect to AT&T's network. The Cellular icon in the pull-down menu just flash every 10 secs. AT&T support was no help (already did what the suggested). Went into an AT&T store and got a new sim....didn't fix it. Apple Stores are booked and you cannot walk-in (the have the Teller-type windows at the front of the store now with a Security Guard out front...LOL). I cannot be without my phone. I guess I'm lucky that my trade-in box has arrived from AT&T.

Has anyone seen the flashing cell icon before? Yes....I've reset network settings, I did a full-restore. New Sim.

Airplane mode on then off usually fixes that. Also sometimes auto 5G causes that due to switching from tower to tower.

Did you try contacting apple care support and see if they can run the diagnostics remotely?
 
Apple says it is a hardware problem. The problem is AT&T stores don't have 12 Pro Max. Soonest AppleStore appointments....is Sunday. Apple mail replacement will take 5-7 days. I'll see what AT&T mail service replacement time is .

When I was attempting to replace my screen on my 11PM, Best Buy said they would need my phone for a month. I was like are you ****ing serious.

AT&T customer service can even switch in a 3-way call without disconnecting me (which they did after being on the line for 25 minutes with them).
 
Now....AT&T has gotten me pissed off. When I called back and got a different CSR, he is telling me they can't replace...Apple has to do it unless I changed the color, memory size or, Brand. LOL. WTF. It is still within the 10 day period. The other CSR was processing the replacement.......GRRRRRRR

Horrible service, I hate that. I have the same issue when I call Verizon, if I call three times and speak with three different reps, I get three different answers. Awful, just awful.

I don't know if you've tried this, but if you call AT&T again, ask for Customer Loyalty Department at the prompt. They've been much better at helping me than the typical CSR that I get otherwise.
 
AT&T blames Apple's day 1 warranty for the reason you have change something for their "buyer's remorse" exchanges. I got a manager to wave that. I will have one shipped out tomorrow. The problem is, I have to pay the Taxes again on the phone ($99) and the other $99 will be refunded when they get the defective phone. GRRRRRRR


I was going to switch to Pacific Blue, but they wouldn't ship out until 11/24, so I stayed with the Graphite and it ships tomorrow. Will be rockin' the X for another few days I guess.
 
Well, Atleast AT&T upgraded the shipping. Will get the new phone Wednesday afternoon.
