I had constant freezes on my Macbook Pro 2010 before.

I went to Genius Bar three times, and I got lucky on my third time cos the real culprit has been found out.

It is the lower RAM SO-DIMM slot. So for now, I can only use one slot and fill it with 4GB. It is ok for a while, but I still want to use the second slot.

So, I am wondering if I can replace only the SO-DIMM slot rather than replacing the entire Logic Board which cost like $500 USD.

Thank you

thank you for your response

i just realize how useful Apple Care is when my MacBook Pro got broken...
and it was just about few weeks after it got broken..

so I cannot repair it for free :(
